Tennessee Democratic leaders are calling for the education commissioner to resign, saying she’s “legally unqualified” to hold her position in our state.
The House Democratic Caucus held a press conference Monday morning stating reasons they want Commissioner Lizzette Reynolds to step down from her post. Reynolds was sworn in last summer to replace Penny Schwinn.
However, most Republicans are standing behind Commissioner Reynolds.
