After a nearly three-hour hearing, the Davidson County Election Commission ruled Representative Justin Jones can appear on the ballot for the August election.
This comes after Jones’ Republican opponent Laura Nelson challenged his signatures he had to gather in order to run.
Rep. Jones made national headlines after he was expelled for protesting gun reform on the House floor during special session following the Covenant School shooting last year.
