It’s illegal for law enforcement agencies in Tennessee to have ticket quotas, or even an expectation for amassing a certain number of tickets.
A FOX 17 News investigation last November uncovered one town in the Midstate that apparently tried to fund a police expansion, based solely on ticket revenue.
