A Metro Schools mother, Shannikka Sherrill, is upset with one elementary school after she claims the school never communicated a serious injury to her son.
Sherrill picked up her son, Jayce Middlebrooks, from Granbery Elementary in October of last year. Jayce has Autism and is non-speaking.
“He’s vibrant, he’s energetic, like he’s a ball of energy for sure,” said Shannikka.
