Students gathered again Monday morning in a peaceful protest at the Tennessee State Capitol to rally against a bill that would arm teachers.
HB1202 passed the Senate earlier this month, sparking outcries from teachers, students, and Democratic lawmakers.
Many believe the plan to arm teachers won’t help with school safety but would instead create more chaos in the event of an active shooter.
