Midstate parents are questioning a new law cracking down on school threats. Some say it’s too vague, after an investigative group, Pro Publica, reported that a student in East Tennessee ended up punished for pointing his finger like a gun.
The law took effect last year, it was following the Covenant School shooting. The law mandates a one-year expulsion for students who threaten mass violence at school or school events. But some say it’s too vague.
