Former President Donald Trump was greeted by wildly cheering crowd of supporters at the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, this past weekend.

Supporters jumped to their feet and cheered Trump as he waved and then punched the air with his fist.

According to Radar Online, Trump appeared at the event ahead of a planned rally on Monday, March 20.

Trump’s appearance in Tulsa came days after he sparked a media frenzy by claiming he will be hauled into jail in New York on Tuesday.

Trump made the claim in a post on his Truth Social app last week. The post immediately went viral on social media and triggered wall-to-wall news coverage all weekend.

As Radar Online previously reported, Trump urged his 9.4 million followers on Truth Social to “protest, protest, protest” and “TAKE THIS COUNTRY BACK!”

However, Trump insists the Manhattan District Attorney will indict him for paying former stripper Stormy Daniels $130,000 hush money before the 2016 presidential election.

Anti-Trumpers are ecstatic over the news that Trump may be arrested and held without bond in jail. However, political pundits say Democrats are playing with fire by using the justice system to eliminate a political threat to President Biden’s re-election in 2024.
