A well-known encampment in Hermitage is officially closed. Metro leaders say 36 people accepted housing, and one person left on his own before the camp closed.
Thursday, FOX 17 News crews went to the site and saw piles of trash that was left behind, including shopping carts, propane tanks and needles.
“This is the worst I’ve ever seen it. And then you just kind of see everything, this was these people’s whole lives. And now it’s just trash,” said Brittany McCann.
