A man on Tennessee death row. At one point the next man scheduled to die has discovered a new investigation is raising serious questions about his 32-year-old double murder conviction.
Gary Sutton and his Uncle James Dellinger were convicted of a vicious double murder in the foothills of the smokies, but a new investigation started by an old flame has led to new hope.
Carolyn Miller fell in love with a young Gary Sutton, his conviction and time ended their relationship, but years later on a chance phone call old feelings came up.
“So, when I talked to him, it was like, all these things came shining back and I knew it was just the Gary that I’ve always known. And I started doing research,” said Miller.
